Pay point 2, Crisis accommodation employee level 4
Minimum pay rate under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
No rate is currently published for this classification. This can happen where a classification exists in the award structure but carries no separate rate.
What this rate is, and is not
This is the minimum ordinary hourly rate — the rate for ordinary hours, before penalty rates, overtime, allowances or loadings. An employer can pay more than the minimum. They cannot pay less.
Rates at other times
This award publishes no penalty rate table. The Fair Work Commission publishes no Saturday, Sunday, public holiday, overtime or evening percentage for the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, so there is no second figure on this page to work out from the ordinary rate.
That is what the award publishes, not a gap in what we hold. Awards are written differently from one another: some state each circumstance as a percentage of the ordinary rate, and the Commission publishes those percentages as a table. This one does not. The award's own clauses still govern the hours worked under it, and this page does not reproduce clause text — so read this as a statement about what is published, and nothing further.
Before you compare this to your own pay
Classification depends on the duties you actually perform, not your job title. If the work you do does not match this classification, this is not the rate to compare against — and that is the single most common reason a comparison goes wrong.
This page also does not account for your hours, whether you are casual, part-time or full-time, penalty rates for the times you worked, overtime, allowances, superannuation, or anything else that appears on a payslip.
If your own figures do not match what you expected, the Fair Work Ombudsman gives free advice and accepts anonymous reports.
