Where these figures come from
Rates are taken from the Fair Work Commission's Modern Awards Pay Database and stored with the date each one took effect, so a page can show what applied on a past date as well as today.
Where the Commission publishes a weekly rate but no hourly one — which is the case for every junior classification — the hourly figure is calculated from the weekly rate over the award's ordinary weekly hours. Pages say which figures are calculated.
Award rates change on 1 July each year, and can change at other times when the Commission makes a decision. These pages carry the date each rate took effect.
